What Middlepace is

A ninety-day education program for couples who want each other at different rates. Thirteen weeks of short readings on two tracks and quizzes each partner answers alone, a routine the partner who wants it less sets and shapes, and private check-ins, on the web and by text. It has no images, video, or audio of sex, and nothing in it is a sexual service.

Education, not therapy

Middlepace is education, not therapy. It is a research-backed program, and it works with therapy or without it. It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it is not medical advice. For pain, a medical condition, or a relationship that feels unsafe, talk to a doctor or a therapist.

If you are afraid of your partner, or anyone is being pressured into sex, this program is not the right tool. The National Domestic Violence Hotline answers any time at 1-800-799-7233.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and in the United States. Each partner uses their own account and their own phone number, and nobody enters a phone number for someone else.

The purchase

• You pay once, at checkout, the price shown when you buy. There is no subscription, and nothing renews.
• One purchase covers both of you. Your partner never pays and never sees a price.
• Lifetime access means you can use the program, and restart it from day one whenever you like, for as long as we run Middlepace.
• The price may change for new buyers. What you paid does not.

Refunds

If it is not right for you, write to hello@middlepace.com within thirty days of buying and we refund the whole price. No reason needed.

Texts

Your phone number is your account. There is no password. When you sign in, we text you a code. If you cannot get texts, you can ask for a sign-in link by email instead. That is deliberate. Nothing about the program lands anywhere you did not ask for it.

The program also texts you when a reading or quiz lands, with a reminder if it sits undone, when your partner has answered, on the days you schedule, and for a check-in that night. Those you can turn off.

• How often. Message frequency varies with the days you schedule.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply.
• Stopping. Reply STOP to any text and the program texts stop. We send one text to confirm and nothing after it. Reply START to begin again. Sign-in codes keep working, because without them you cannot sign in.
• Help. Reply HELP to any text, or write to hello@middlepace.com.
• Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

The privacy policy says how your number is handled. It is never shared with anyone for their marketing.

Using it the way it is built

Middlepace is built so the partner who wants it less sets the number and can say no to anything, at any time. Using it means you accept that.

Do not use it to pressure, watch, or harass anyone. Do not sign in as your partner or read their texts to get around it. Do not copy, resell, or publish the program, and do not try to break into the site or overload it. We can close an account that does any of these.

Whose is what

The lessons, the writing, and the design are ours. Your purchase lets the two of you use them for yourselves. Your answers are yours. You let us store and process them only to run the program for you.

If something goes wrong

We work to keep the program running and correct, but we provide it as is. We do not promise it will change your relationship or that it will never go down. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything to do with Middlepace is what you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect losses. Some states do not allow these limits, so not all of them may apply to you.

Disputes

If something is wrong, write to us first at hello@middlepace.com and we will try to put it right.

The laws of Colorado govern these terms, apart from any law of your own state that protects you and cannot be set aside by agreement.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. A change never reaches back to a purchase you already made.
